Bright, citrusy, easy drinking. Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hops. The one that started it all.
Rich malt backbone, toffee notes, balanced bitterness. A proper pint.
Roasty, smooth, chocolate finish. Oats for body, patience for perfection.
Bold, piney, unapologetically bitter. For those who like their hops loud.

Our place
Concrete floors, long timber tables, fairy lights, and 12 taps of whatever we've brewed. The brewery is right behind the bar — you can watch (and smell) brew day happening in real time.
Bring the kids, bring the dog, bring an appetite. Our wood-fired pizza oven runs every session and local food trucks park up on weekends.

Word of mouth
“Best taproom in the Bay, no question. The Sidetrack IPA is dangerously good and the pizza oven is the real deal. We've been back three times this month.
“Took the family on a Sunday arvo and it was perfect — kids ran around the courtyard while we worked through a tasting paddle. Finn even gave us a tour of the brewhouse.
“Stopped in during a Hawke's Bay wine trip and this was honestly the highlight. Unpretentious, great beer, and the vibe is just right. The Dark Horse Stout is world class.

Fresh batch of Day One just hit the taps. Citrus for days. Get in quick.

Friday night in the taproom. Pizza, pints, and @lucymaymusic on the mic.

Brew day. 800L of something special going into the fermenter. Details soon.

Sunday arvo vibes. Kids in the courtyard, parents on the paddles. As it should be.
