Meet Kiri & Pete
Roots & Soil started as a Saturday morning market in Majestic Square — just a few tables of organic veg from local growers who couldn't get shelf space at the supermarket. By 2019, demand outgrew the square, and founders Kiri and Pete opened a permanent store on Victoria Avenue. The shop carries organic produce from within 50km, bulk wholefoods, local honey, free-range eggs, and handmade soaps. The Saturday market still runs out front.
